"Olivia and I had a wonderful trip to Japan. Not only did we learn about the Japanese culture, we experienced how to pray at temples and shrines, eating eggs to prolong our lives at Owakudani, a thrilling ride at Fuji Q, navigating the subways/trains and meeting very kind and hospitable people…The itinerary was perfect, allowing us to visit many different cities/towns and going from the big city to the farm country to the sea. Our stay at the Ryokan included a wonderful room with ocean view and private outdoor bath... We also enjoyed our tour of Kyoto. …. Todai-Ji temple in Nara was not only beautiful; we also got a thrill from seeing so many deer, up close. Our guide, ... was a delight! Not only was she knowledgeable, she always asked for my input and feedback and made sure that we were happy. She was patient while Olivia shopped for her beloved anime souvenirs, and understanding of her picky eating habits (we visited a few McDonald’s at my daughter’s request).… Tokyo Disney was a nice ending to our memorable trip….
